The Hammond Sportsplex is proud to announce the 6th season of Velocity 219 Volleyball 

We wanted to offer an affordable volleyball option with all of the bells and whistles to kids in NWI

Here are some of the highlights of what we will offer:

​

  • Affordable programs with no hidden costs. Everything is spelled out before the season

  •  tryout fee.  We will do our best to find a spot and level for every child that wants to play 

  • Our coaches at the higher levels will all have a minimum of high school coaching experience

  • We have up to 12 practice courts in the Hammond Sportsplex and 6 tournament ready courts

  • Elite programs will travel to the right tournaments, like the Windy City Power League

  • Some travel fees will not be included but we will tell you prior to the season what that entails

  • Come grow with Velocity 219 Volleyball in our 6th season in NWI and The Hammond Sportsplex.

Velocity 219 VBC Regional & Elite Teams




During the season, the teams practice twice a week for 2 hours here at the Hammond Sportsplex. The practice schedule can be found on Spond app that each coach sets up for their teams.

Hammond Velocity 219 Elite: 18U - 13U - Estimated Cost Per Child - $1750 - Payment plans available - (October - May)

  • Warm Up Jacket & Pants

  • Multiple Tournament Fees - 8 - 10 Tournaments - Includes Windy City Power League (Personal Travel expenses not included) 

  • Nationals (If qualified)

Hammond Velocity 219 Regional Teams: 17/18U - 12U - Estimated Cost Per Child: $1250 -Payment plans available (October - May)

  • Tournament Fees: 6 - 8 Tournaments - Power League not included, very little travel

The City of Hammond offers sports and recreation scholarships of up to $500 for Hammond residents who qualify that may be used towards Velocity 219 fees
