Walking Track Hours Beginning Monday, November 16th: 8am - 4pm
As a result of Governor Eric Holcomb’s Executive Order 20-48, Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. has announced that effective immediately, all staff and visitors to City of Hammond municipal buildings must wear personal protective masks while in public buildings. This includes the Hammond Sportsplex. Please bring your masks!
Additionally, per both the Governor and Mayor’s directives, effective immediately and until further notice, you must follow the following measures and restrictions or you will not be permitted to attend events at the Sportsplex and will be asked to leave the premises:
All youth tournaments, leagues, and games may have only one (1) parent/guardian attend tournaments, leagues, or games per rostered player.
All adult leagues/games will continue with no fans/guests in attendance.
All participants must wear masks into the Sportsplex and at all times when not participating in a game.
All parents/guardians must wear masks at all times while in the Sportsplex.
All practices are “closed” meaning no parents/guardians/guests may be in the Sportsplex to watch any practices. The only exception is for youth teams for ages 5-7 where one (1) parent/guardian per rostered player may watch the practice from the second floor viewing area and must leave within five (5) minutes of practice ending.
Thank you for following these rules to help us all stay safe and stop the spread of COVID-19.
